The Best Way To Design a Health & Fitness Plan

Posted on 26 April 2010

If you want to become much fitter, first you need to plan out your goals, workouts and diet. These are the essential elements that you won’t be able to have massive success without.

What you want to do right in the beginning (even before you go to the gym for the first time) is create some goals. It’s best to make them relatively easy to get oto and date them for a month or two in the future.

When your making these goals for the first time, it doesn’t really matter that much how you do them. Just put down something which you would like to be doing in a months time and date it.

Later on once you’ve accomplished some of your goals you can start making longer term ones. You might make year goals or even 5 or 10 year goals. But for the time being make them short and easy to get to.

At this point, you should go and checkout a gym close by to where you live to learn some exercises and get used to using fitness equipment. The aim here should be to just learn how everything works and which machines you like.

Now that you’ve got a good idea how all the machines work and what you need to do on each one, pick out a few that you like. If you can find between 9 and 12 different workouts that each push different parts of your body, then you’ve got the makings of a workout routine.

Next get a diet plan together that includes a bunch of tasty (yet healthy) foods. If you try and force yourself to eat healthy food which you just don’t like the taste of, you risk breaking your diet. So try out lots of health foods and include the ones you like into your eating plan.

To give you an idea, when I was first doing this I tried hundreds of new foods. I used to be heavily into fast food and take aways but now I live fruits, lean meats and vegetables.

Come over and read this is your going to buy rower machine.
