Should I Buy Home Fitness Equipment or Go To The Gym?
Posted on 26 April 2010
Getting to the gym and back can turn into a really annoying task. It’s not that you don’t like the exercising, it’s just that actually driving there can take time and you can easily end up taking more time to get there then you actually use working out.
On top on this, if you take the cost of going into the equation (including gas) your talking about a lot of money each year. Now I’m not saying that you should stop working out, I’m saying that it could well be a smarter choice to buy your own home fitness machine.
I came to this conclusion quite a while ago and decided to quit going to the gym. I worked out that I would have saved a lot of money if I had done this from day one and so thought ‘better late than never’.
It literally took me no more than a couple of hours before I found the indoor rower that I wanted to buy. From reading the reviews it was getting I could see it was the best one available and bought it straight away.
When I got it about a week later, I quickly moved it to where it needed to be and gave it a go. After having used it for 15 minutes I was in love with it. It worked so well and provided such a great workout.
My friend who has also quit the gym around the same time as I did, would come over sometimes to use the rowing machine. But after a while he just decided to buy his own one.
My friend had bought many items online and had got very good at getting bargains. After a week or two of research he bought the exact same rowing machine as mine, but at a massively reduced price.
I now know that you should never just point and click when buying things online. You really need to look around for the best price and see if you can snag a bargain.
